About Us

At KBK Endo & Wellness, we specialize in a variety of endocrine conditions. We treat diabetes, thyroid and parathyroid problems, PCOS, pituitary disease, adrenal problems, osteoporosis, weight management, and a variety of other hormonal problems. Our aim is to provide everything we have in our toolbox to help patients get better on their health journey when it comes to their endocrine needs. We believe in personalized medicine where no one solution fits all. In our clinic, we hope to foster a culture of kindness, always acting in our patients’ best interest (beneficence), and using knowledge founded on the latest research in order to serve our patients in the best way possible.

Dr. Maha Alhusseini | kbk endo and wellness

Dr. Maha Alhusseini, MD

Board certification - Board certified in internal medicine, endocrinology, and obesity medicine.

Specialties- Endocrinology and Weight loss management.

Dr. Maha Alhusseini completed medical school, residency in internal medicine, and fellowship in endocrinology at Wayne State University School of Medicine. In addition to board certifications in internal medicine and endocrinology, she also completed board certification in obesity medicine. Dr. Alhusseini finds endocrinology very intriguing in the way that hormones, which are very small molecules in the body, can have such a profound effect on our health. Furthermore, the field of endocrinology offers an opportune space where implementing the right lifestyle can transform people’s health journey. Dr. Alhusseini believes in compassionate care and is an advocate of a doctor-patient relationship based on trust and communication in order to achieve the best health outcomes.
